Beyond the Diagnosis:
Comfort and Dignity in Dementia Care.
Every senior citizen deserves a good life, especially if they have dementia.
My goal is to give them hands-on care and support so they feel comfortable and understood every day.

Teach
Give simple, clear information about dementia and other serious diseases.
Help
Give families and caregivers the tools and knowledge they need to provide support.
Inspire
Encourage teens to volunteer and research so they can make a difference.
About Me
My name is Roshin John
Hello, my name is Roshin.
As a high school student, I've developed a deep passion for understanding diseases like dementia and the profound impact they have on people's lives. Through my medical volunteering at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center West Shore Hospital and my work with Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, I've had the privilege of learning firsthand about patient care. My goal is to combine this practical experience with my scientific research in neuroscience to create a community of support and education.

Neuroscience Research
I am currently conducting a neuroscience research program where I am engaging in an in-depth study of the brain and its neurological processes. I am actively creating an outline for a research proposal on neurodegenerative diseases, specifically dementia, and am working towards publishing an independent research study. This hands-on experience allows me to learn about the science behind these diseases and explore potential new treatments.
